I read this story for the first time last year. Read it again and loved it even more the second time. This wonderful story broke my heart, made me cry then gave me hope with some rock and roll on the side.

Libby is a loner. She lives with the town's crazy person and has no one else to care for her. Peter is in a popular band and never has a minute to himself. They meet for the first time when Peter's family stops to eat lunch at a nature preserve, on their way to the next tour stop. He made her stomach flutter and she couldn't even find the words to say when he asked her a question. She had no idea who this guy was. She doesn't watch TV nor a radio, why would she? And for the first time in his life, Peter can actually be himself. The encounter ends all too quickly and they plan to meet there again. She's pretty sure she'll never see him again. He's pretty sure their next encounter won't get here fast enough.

Over time, they continue talking and seeing each other and easily fall in love. Peter wants to rescue Libby from the hell in which she lives. But before that can happen, his family gets involved and does something cruel. Peter has no idea what is going on and can't get a hold of Libby. She is left heartbroken and very confused. Soon the life around Libby worsens and she is taken away from her home and any chance Peter has of finding her again. Libby is gone, in the wind. Peter is furious and depressed. He was all she had and now she has nothing.

Many months pass and Libby has found a home in Georgia. She has a place to sleep, work and clothes to wear. In the meantime, Peter is trying to come up with a way to find her. Peter's family is now doing everything in their power to help. And, the plan they come up with is awesome and beautiful. But how will Libby find out that they are even searching for her?

I loved this story so much! I felt the pain of loss and the joy of love with this young couple. I recommend this story if you are looking for a great, quick read. Join in on their adventure and enjoy the story of Libby and Peter.

I would highly recommend this YA romance. It is appropriate for all ages.

This book is about Peter (lead singer for band Jaimeson) and Libby who meet and fall in love. Libby lost her mother and sister in an accident (which she survived). After the accident, her dad left her with her Aunt who has a criminal history and isn't a great guardian for her. Peter is of course on the road on tour and his brother Garrett calls Libby behind Peters back and says that Peter doesn't want to see her anymore. Of course Libby is devastated and Peter gets pissed off at Garrett after he finds out. On top of that, Garrett cancelled Libby's cell phone plan (one that Peter had given her to stay in touch with him) and also destroyed Peter's phone so they can't contact each other. Libby's aunt ends up in legal trouble and because Libby is under age, she is taken to a foster home and when Peter finds out he is unable to track her down. After running into problems, Libby runs away out of state and goes by a different name so she can't be tracked (which also ends up making it next to impossible for Peter to track her down). Peter eventually starts a national search (through his concerts) to find Libby - months later they end up reunited, but quite a bit of the book covers their journey to find each other again. I was glad that there was a happy ending for Libby and Peter. I highly recommend this book and then the sequel "Snapshot" which is about Peter's brother Adam (the lead guitarist for Jaimeson) and his journey to find love with a girl named Marti.
I absolutely loved this book. It was one of those books that had you sure from the discription that the main characters could never end up together.

Libby lost both her mom and sister in a car crash and hasn't seen her dad in over a year, because he just can't handle the grief. She's forced to live with her awful aunt who could not car less about her. He life is pretty far from perfect to say the least.

Then she meets Peter who has a life the total opposite of hers. He's a rock star and has an awesome family that can be a little smothering with all the time they spend together on tour.

When they meet each other it is so refreshing for them both. Neither of them know where the past has taken them or where the present has them. They just know the other is someone who is fun to talk to. They quickly connect and want to keep up a friendship.

To say the least this book was really good. It was deep and touching. I wished there was a sequel. I want to see where life takes these characters in the future. Read this book.
