Social worker, STEPHANIE ALLAN, is new on the job and determined to make it on her own. When handsome movie star, BRANDON MCCALLISTER arrives, he spices things up, triggering all her hot buttons. Will she set aside her pride and open her heart to his playful persistence?
Welcome to Cherryvale, where neighbors care, gardeners share, and God allows do-overs. Brick-lined streets, and charming 1900's era storefronts lure tourists and destination travelers for an afternoon of antiquing, kite flying in Cherryvale park, or a visit to Maggie's petting farm. Take a stroll around the CherryPath, a unique artery that winds through homes and past the white steepled church, connecting 'Valers as one in heart and mind,* and then stop in for ice cream sundaes at the Lunch Bucket. You'll never want to leave, and the folks of Cherryvale hope you'll return again and again. (*Acts 432) From Fresh Start Stories...because everyone needs one from time to time

Stephanie Allan left home when her father made unreasonable demands on her. She's now a social worker and determined to make it on her own. She shares an apartment with her best friend but has no money for extras. The car she drives has about seen it's day. When she gets a flat tire on the way home, she is shocked when Brandon McCallister stops to help her. Then asks her out for coffee. Brandon McCallister is a celebrity and recognized wherever he goes. Stephanie is very drawn to Brandon but knows there can be nothing between them. She's heard of his reputation and besides he looks pretty friendly with Rose. Will Brandon convince Stephanie to take a chance with him or will the door to her heart remain closed? This was a lighthearted story that made for an enjoyable Thanksgiving Day read. The characters were likable and the town of Cherryvale was a place I'd like to visit again. There were a few parts where I just didn't understand why Brandon and Stephanie couldn't ask each other what was bothering them but I guess if we're honest, you don't do that when you're first dating. The story moved at a nice pace and kept my interest. I liked the ending but I really wanted there to be bit more. I know there are other books in the Cherryvale series so perhaps we'll see more of these characters as the stories continue. I might even go the Cherryvale for Christmas and find out!

Hearts Unlocked The Seasons of Cherryvale Book 3 edition by Beverly Nault Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Very good book with believable characters, that many people can relate to in one way or another. Highly recommend reading!
I enjoy all of Bev's books this one was no exception. Waiting for her next one to hit the market. Love her sense of humor and down to earth approach to her characters.
Entertaining story. Characters are nice. Easy reading. Not in the best books I have read but still I recommend it.
It is a very good read.

Bev Nault has done it again - she has given readers another feel-good book with endearing characters who resolve true to life struggles with a little bit of help from Cherryvale friends and a lot of divine inspiration. Nault's plot and character development create a make believe world for readers to escape to. I felt sad when when the book ended and I had to say goodbye to "my friends". By Rebecca Farnbach [...]
Warm up the apple cider and curl up in a cozy corner. Here's the perfect way to settle into Fall. I love this little novella with its tender moments, beautiful writing, and laugh-out-loud quirky humor. I highly recommend Hearts Unlocked to anyone who enjoys inspirational women's fiction with a touch of romance. This is just simply a charming little book.
What a delightful book to read. It got me into the holiday spirit of giving ourselves to others, reather than be selfishly wanting others to give. I wasn't sure at first who Stephanie was going to choose. My heart was satisfied how it ended. Thanks so much Beverly Nault, you have a winner of a book. Now I have to find the rest of your books. This was great being a freebe from because it introduced me to a new author. I think that everyone will enjoy this book.
